| Rhinestones | A rhinestone or paste or diamante is a diamond simulation made from rock crystal, glass or acrylic. Originally, rhinestones were rock crystals gathered from the river Rhine. The availability was greatly increased around 1775 when the Alsatian jeweler Georg Friedrich Strass had the idea to imitate diamonds by coating the lower side of glass with metal powder. Rhinestones are often used imitations of diamonds on jewelry, clothing or shoes, and some manufacturers even manage to reproduce the glistening effect real diamonds have in the sun. |

Some manufacturers ship direct* from their warehouse to you within the US and most ship within 24-48 hours. They do not ship outside of the US so international orders of these items arrive to us first as stated above. We try to keep items that are out of stock updated, but sometimes manufacturers sell out without notice. These items are subject to availability at the time of your order and we will let you know as soon as possible if they are out of stock on any item in your order.
Other items are imported from India, the UK, or another country and can take extra time for delivery due to customs and other factors beyond our control. Generally these items arrive within 1-3 weeks, but can take 6 weeks or longer depending on the item production and transit times - especially for handcrafted items.
